'Miss You Already'

My intimate and melancholic study of distance and enduring affection. This original oil painting captures a window pane at the fleeting moment of dusk, heavily veiled by rain. The scene is dominated by a wash of the cool, muted tones,  suggesting the rapidly fading light of day. Through the blurry glass, faint, abstracted silhouettes of the outside world, trees, grass, and the last hazy streaks of the setting sun are just visible, grounding you in a moment of travel or transition.

​My focal point is the simple yet powerful love heart, deliberately etched into the condensation, a universal symbol of devotion carved into the temporary veil of the window. The rivulets of rain streaming down the glass are rendered with sharp, glistening detail, suggesting not just a downpour, but the silent, prismatic trace of a tear or two shed in anticipation.

'Miss You Already,'  is a profound reflection on the strength of a love that aches across distance, holding a hopeful promise for that moment that 'we meet again.'
